ProSafety ISO 14001 certified for its environmental management system

At ProSafety, workplace safety goes hand in hand with an essential responsibility: protecting the environment. With this in mind, ProSafety is now ISO 14001 certified, the international reference standard for environmental management.

This certification confirms the implementation of a structured system designed to control the environmental impact of our activities, comply with regulatory requirements, and anchor our development in a sustainable and responsible approach.

What is ISO 14001 certification?

The ISO 14001 standard defines the criteria for an effective environmental management system. It enables companies to:

  • reduce their environmental footprint,

  • optimize the use of resources,

  • limit waste production,

  • prevent pollution,

  • and implement a continuous improvement process.

For ProSafety, this certification represents a true long-term commitment to integrating environmental challenges into all our activities.

A concrete environmental approach at ProSafety

Quality products designed to last

Sustainability is an integral part of our vision. Thanks to the quality of our range of workwear and personal protective equipment (PPE), our products have a long lifespan. This limits repairs, reduces frequent replacements, and helps decrease the overall environmental impact of our activities.

We are also constantly looking for more environmentally friendly solutions, particularly through the circular economy.

Recycling and reducing packaging

ProSafety prioritizes eco-friendly packaging and reuses supplier packaging whenever possible for shipping orders. We also encourage reducing excessive packaging and grouping deliveries to limit waste.

Responsible digital communication

As part of a paperless approach, most of our catalogs, technical sheets, and documentation are available online. We recommend that our customers print only when necessary.

Internal communication is fully electronic, and sales management, project monitoring, and after-sales service are digitalized through CRM software.

Eco-responsible purchasing policy

ProSafety prioritizes partners and suppliers committed to an environmental approach. The paper used within the company is exclusively recycled or FSC-certified paper.

We also raise awareness among our subcontractors and employees about the importance of working with environmentally responsible companies.

Reducing our energy consumption and promoting sustainable mobility

Our offices are equipped with LED lighting and electrical equipment is systematically switched off when not in use. No device is left unnecessarily on standby.

Our building is heated by a heat pump and our solar electricity production has been increased through the installation of additional photovoltaic panels.

Our vehicle fleet is gradually being replaced by hybrid and electric models, charged using our own energy via two charging stations located in our parking area.

Responsible waste management

All waste generated in our offices is sorted and recycled: cardboard, paper, PMC, biodegradable waste, residual waste, packaging films…

Printer cartridges and toners are collected by specialized companies, and a compost system has been set up to process kitchen waste in an environmentally friendly way.

Collection and recycling of used workwear and PPE

As a specialist in professional workwear and protective equipment, ProSafety fully embraces its environmental responsibility.

We have implemented a collection system for used workwear and PPE to give them a second life:

  • reconditioning,

  • conversion into new textile fibers,

  • production of insulation materials,

  • maximum recovery, with a small percentage destined for incineration.

Continuous improvement at the heart of our commitment

Being ISO 14001 certified means that ProSafety constantly monitors the environmental impact of its activities and continuously seeks to reduce, optimize, and improve its practices.

This certification reflects our desire to build a more responsible, sustainable, and future-oriented company.
